The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway

Located in the South West of the Lake District, this wonderful miniature steam railway is a great way to explore the area between Ravenglass & Dalegarth which covers over 7 miles. There is a small fee for taking your dog on board but you also get a doggy pack and water bowls at either end of the line.

The railway serves as a great alternative to the car and you can get off at certain stops along the line and enjoy a long walk with the children and dogs.

Windermere Lake Cruises

This is a must when visiting the Lake District. Dogs are welcome free of charge and you can enjoy a gentle journey around Englands longest lake or jump off at different stops along the way for a bite to eat or perhaps to enjoy one of the other dog-friendly attractions offshore.
