Things To Do in Pickering

Referred to as the gateway to the North York Moors, Pickering is just a short drive away south of Manor Cottage. It’s a historic and bustling market town rich in history and is a popular tourist hotspot amongst those on their way to the North York Moors. The North Yorkshire Moors railway, complete with a steam-powered locomotive, runs through the centre of Pickering and has a station where you can join the train.

A popular tourist attraction within Pickering is the Beck Isle Museum. It is located in the centre of town inside a regency period residence alongside Pickering Beck.
