This beautiful cottage isn’t quite a lighthouse itself but is tucked very neatly and discretely underneath the lighthouse itself. It has adopted a Scandanavian style that has an open plan that sweeps throughout the property and enhances the panoramic views of the nearby blue sea.
It sleeps up to a dozen guests across its five bedrooms. Consisting of a double with an en-suite, three twins and one twin bunk room. There is also a separate communal bathroom with a bath over and shower. Elsewhere there is a joint kitchen//diner and a spacious sitting room.
Guests staying at Barn Ness can bring, if they wish, up to two well-behaved pets with them for £30 per pet. The costs of any fuel and power and bed linen and towels are also inclusive of the price you will be paying to stay at Barns Ness lighthouse.

Things To Do in Dunbar
Dunbar is referred to as one of Scotland’s ‘hidden gems. It is located on the East Lothian coast and has recently become a top destination for those wanting to explore some of the quintessential sights and landmarks of Scotland. Located around 30 miles east of the capital Edinburgh, it looks out into the North Sea and was one of Scotland’s most critical and pivotal fortresses back in the Middle Ages.
Suppose you’re looking for a place to take in some views and walk your dog. Then head over to the John Muir Country Park. It is a fabulously preserved nature reserve and lets you into the history of the area and being home to a rich ecosystem of many different birds and plants and stretches along the coastline. There is also a leisure centre in Dunbar that boasts a wave machine, beach area, a flume, and a fully stocked gym.
If you wish to do some shopping, why not head over to the high street in Dunbar lined with local businesses, which provide you with a plentiful choice when it comes to shopping whilst also having plenty of places where you can grab a bite to eat and drink. Other attractions and landmarks to experience include the East Links family park and Foxlakes Adventure. Jump on the train that runs throughout the safari and take in the sights of the animals.
