With the ability to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests, this beautiful detached cottage strikes the perfect balance between luxury and seclusion. It’s the perfect rural getaway either for a group of friends or an extended family getting you away from the hassles of daily life.

The ten guests in this lodge sleep across a total of five bedrooms. These include a king-size double complete with an en-suite, two twin bedrooms, one bunk and another king-size double that also comes with its en-suite facility with a luxurious and welcoming walk-in shower.

Other property features include an open plan living room that comes complete with its very own cosy log burner. And as you step into the kitchen, not only are you greeted with all of the latest appliances but a stylish American-style fridge freeze complete with an ice dispenser.

This beautiful detached cottage presents itself perfectly as the ideal home away from home for an extended family or a group of friends wanting to unwind and also have close access to the beach. It makes it perfect as a summer getaway and in the Winter, with its log burners and oil-powered central heating, it is a warm and cosy retreat
It is spread out over two floors consisting of five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a snug/games room, a utility room, a second sitting room based on the first floor and an open plan living and kitchen area. Outside of the property, there is ample off-road parking for up to five cars and secure bike storage.

When staying at Penhaven, the owners allow guests to bring along up to two well-behaved pets up to medium size. This is the perfect place to bring your pets as the choice is abundant when it comes to taking them for a walk, with the nearby beach being a prime location.

Things To Do in Crackington Haven

Crackington Haven is a quaint and beautiful coastal village located in North Cornwall. It’s neatly tucked away and its nearby beaches boast some of the most breathtaking views with unspoilt rock formations. It’s known for its geology and even as a phenomenon in the world of geology named after the Crackington Formation.

If you want to explore the local area and get away from the village itself, why not head over to the remote Dizzard Forest located to the North of Crackington, which is also a perfect place to take your pet for a walk. Or if you’re not scared of heights, why not head south instead of Crackington to High Cliff, which is the regions highest vertical cliff, which stands upright at a staggering 735ft!

If you would also like to learn more about the deep and rich history of the area and how it got to where it is today, why not head over to the Bude Castle Heritage Centre, where you can learn about tales of inventors, shipwrecks, railways and much more! It is a Grade II listed building and is open to visitors to come and explore all of the stories and artefacts it has there to show you and teach you about its history.
