This semi-detached cottage was restored in 2018 and has a king-size bedroom and sleeps 2 people. The open-plan living area has beamed ceilings, a log burner, TV and DVD player.
The cottage-style kitchen is fully equipped, and the utility room comes with a freezer and washing machine. Underfloor heating ensures you are warm in the cooler months.
A patio at the back has a seating area and a barbecue. One dog is welcome at this holiday home.

Things To Do in Ropsley, Grantham
Ropsley in Lincolnshire is a quiet village lined with stone cottages. The handsome church is at the centre of things, and The Green Man pub serves beer, tea and slap-up meals 6 days a week.
The market town of Grantham is a 10-minute drive from Apple Tree Cottage. Margaret Thatcher was born here and it was also the first town to have a female police officer. St Wulfram’s Church stained glass windows are worth a visit and the tea room inside is popular with locals.
The antique centre on the high street has been visited by the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow on 2 different occasions. Belton House has formal gardens and a coffee shop to tour, and you can also visit the house itself – it’s a National Trust Property. Lincoln is a cathedral city that boasts a castle built by William the Conqueror.
The tower is impressive, and the prison is great fun to visit. One of the original Magna Carta documents is held at this castle and is part of an interesting exhibition. Nottingham is 20 miles to the east and there is more than a day’s worth of things to see here.
A castle, lace museum, market and a forest will keep you enthralled along with a vast choice of shops and great places to eat. Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan House and deer park, is open to tour as well. For long walks in the countryside, head over to Rutland Water Nature Reserve, it’s a 30-minute drive away.
A bird spotters paradise, osprey and kingfishers can be found at this resevoir. It’s a dog-friendly park but doggies must be kept on their leads.

The River Slea is close by and Cogglesford Mill sits on the water – it’s a working mill with a visitors centre. You can take your pick of things to do near Grantham – there’s plenty to do whatever the time of year.
