Ford Farm Lodges offer the space and peace to recharge your batteries. With a pathway around the park, you can enjoy a gentle stroll with you doggy come rain or shine.

Look out for squirrels and birds as you walk, the surrounding countryside encourages all kinds of wildlife into the area.

Each lodge has space around it. The inside is clad in pine and has been fitted with all the comforts of home. With a choice or 1 and 2 bedrooms, a selection are doggy friendly. Upgrade to a Spa lodge and there’s a hot tub on the deck to enjoy.

Things To Do in Kilcot, Newent

Newent has a handful of shops, cafes and pubs so there’s everything you need when you’re on holiday. There is a llama farm nearby where you can book to feed and walk one if you’re looking for a unique experience.

The Millennium Arboretum on the edge of town is a 9-acre area boasting a fascinating variety of trees that attracts butterflies, woodpeckers and owls. Dog walkers and families love it here because it’s safely enclosed and has all-weather paths to follow.

Ross-on-Wye can be reached in 15 minutes, it’s a pretty town on the river’s edge. From here there are lots of walking routes to take through woodlands and meadows that the doggy will love. Look out for the Sculpture Trail in the Wye Valley, it’s 4 miles long and peppered with artistic pieces that reflect the forest location.

Gloucester has a waterways museum, magnificent cathedral and lots of shops to browse. The docks area is a must-see part of town and it’s dog friendly too. Wander the boutique stores and coffee shops, and take a look at the ships and boats.

It’s a family-run park in a quiet location where you can get back to nature. The Wye Valley and Forest of Dean are on the doorstep and ideal for long walks with the dog.

There are so many trails within easy reach you can try a different one every day. And with Gloucester and Hereford a short drive away, you have a choice of museums, shops and restaurants to visit.
