Things To Do in North Littleton, Nr Evesham

Sitting near the rural Worcestershire village of North Littleton, which is within easy reach of Evesham and and Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a perfect place to relax with your partner and one or two four legged friends, away from the outside world. There is also lots on the doorstep, from the pub a short stroll away to the shop a mile away, and a restaurant 4 miles.

North, Middle and South Littleton lie on a tributary of the nearby River Avon, and there are many country paths to follow along the lanes in the area. Pick up the Middle Littleton Tithe Barn Walk, a National Trust managed pathway of just over 6 miles around Cleeve Hill and down the lovely riverside paths.

The 13th Century Tithe Barn itself is open in the afternoons, and is one of many sites of historical interest in the area.

Further down stream is the delightful town of Evesham, which sits on a bend in the river. The town’s old main street has lots of lovely pubs and restaurants, and there are others on the far side of the river, which has superb waterside walks for pups and people to enjoy. Take in the Crown Meadow park, with its big green open space and riverside path.

Evesham also has a supermarket for stocking up, and independent shops for gifts. There’s a railway station which takes you west to the historic cathedral city of Worcester. To the north east is Stratford-upon-Avon, home of William Shakespeare and perfect for a day out, and to the south is the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Our Thoughts

Middle Farm Cottage is a superb rural retreat, hidden on the edge of a lovely English village. Its tranquil setting, combined with original beams and stone built walls, will tempt you to spend a lot of time at home. Just outside, the country lanes and paths are waiting for your and your pooches to explore, starting with North Littleton, which has a dog friendly pub with lots of outdoor seating.

Enjoy the unspoiled countryside by foot with your canine companions, or take the car into the hidden gem of Evesham, and spend the day sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking, not forgetting the riverside walks and important historic sites.

A half hour drive takes you either south the the beautiful Cotswolds AONB, or to nearby Stratford-upon-Avon, home of culture and half timbered streets. Come home in the evenings to your very own farm cottage.
