About Ivy Grange Cottage
This is a spacious 2 bedroom cottage all on the ground floor and is next to the owner’s home.
There’s a double bedroom and a twin, sleeping 4 people. In the large kitchen there’s a washing machine, oven and fridge-freezer and the living room has a TV and wi-fi.
The bathroom has a corner bath and a separate WC. Outside is a courtyard with a seating area and a barbecue. Up to 2 dogs are welcome here.

Things To Do in Wistow
Selby is a market town in the heart of Yorkshire. A farmer’s market is held in the centre once a month and an annual festival brings foodies in from far a wide.
Selby boasts a spectacular 950-year old abbey with beautiful stained-glass windows and incredible architecture. The town park has mini-golf and a play area for the kids.
There is also an indoor adventure centre offering bowling, a climbing wall, skate park and a huge soft play area. A cinema and selection of eateries complete the facilities available here.
Skipwith Common Nature Reserve is perfect for walking with the dog. Put on your wellies and enjoy the 500 acres of lowlands occupied by cattle and sheep, take along a lead for areas where the animals are grazing.
The historical city of York is 13 miles away. There is so much to see and do here, you might need more than one day to do it justice. York Minster has been the centre of Christianity since the 7th century and holds daily services.
The building is exquisite and you can tour underneath the cathedral too. The River Ouse provides a pretty place to walk, and there are boat trips to book and self-drive vessels to hire.
York is surrounded by a city wall and you can walk all around the top – it’s 3.4 km long in total. When it comes to shopping, you are spoilt for choice in this city with high street chain stores, independent boutiques and artisan gift stores available.
The Shambles is a narrow cobbled lane that dates back to the 14th century. It’s so picturesque it looks like a set from a movie. It used to be filled with butcher shops, but today you’ll find gift shops of all kinds.
Spend time with the family and your pooch in the pretty Yorkshire countryside. Ivy Grange Cottage is in a quiet, rural location, but the bustling city of York can be reached in half an hour for a change of pace.

The cottage is spacious and has all the fixtures you need for a family break away. In the kitchen there’s plenty of room to prepare tasty home-cooked meals, and the courtyard outside is the ideal place to barbecue some burgers and bangers.
