A quiet suburban hideaway with a private, south facing back garden. Next to a huge freshwater lake, and only minutes from the seaside.
This is a lovely family home with two double bedrooms and a family size bathroom with corner bath. The lounge has a double sofa bed for a couple of extra guests.
As well as room for six adults and kids, Mere View also welcomes up to two well behaved dogs. There’s plenty of room in the garden for them to run around, and what’s more your four legged friends stay for free.

Things To Do in Hornsea
Nestled on a quiet street next to Hornsea Mere, the biggest natural lake in Yorkshire, and within walking distance of the sea. A family or group of friends will love staying here, especially with a pooch or two in tow.
The beach, shops and pubs are all a few hundred yards away, and Hornsea has lots of restaurants of all kinds to suit most tastes. Fish and chips are on the menu at all times, which will delight pets as well as people.
Hornsea Mere is just on the doorstep, and has lots to recommend it. As well as walks around the lake, you can take advantage of the boating trips on offer if your group is up to it. The lake is also home to wildfowl, which love the wetlands in and around the unspoiled lake. There is a headland inside the Mere, housing a cafe with superb all round views of the lake and its inhabitants. The town of Hornsea has a chic reputation, and is home to craft breweries and niche eateries. There is also plenty of coastal walking to be done, with miles of beaches spanning the area.
There’s plenty to keep the kids happy in the area. Honeysuckle Farm, to the north west of Hornsea, has lots of animals to feed and play with, and also sells superb ice cream. For a day trip, the City of Hull lies to the south west, and is home to The Deep, an aquarium which has over 3,000 sea creatures, including sharks. Hull also has hundreds of visitor attractions, from museums to cinemas, not to mention some fantastic shopping.
