Lake Windermere boasts many visitor attractions, including boating trips, water sports and miles of lakeside paths to follow. There’s a ferry service across to Bowness-on-Windermere from Far Sawrey, just north of Graythwaite. This runs every 30 minutes, and Bowness is well worth a day trip or evening out.
