Caxton Nook a spacious two bedroomed stone cottage in the heart of Windermere with its own private parking for one car.
Four people can sleep comfortably at the cottage which has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, as well as a house bathroom with spa bath and over bath shower.
Up to two four-legged friends are also very welcome. A local pub, shops and restaurants are just minutes away on foot.

The cottage’s fantastic location in Windermere means everything is within walking distance. Take a walk into town to shop at local independent shops as well as high street favourites or while away an afternoon in one of Windermere’s galleries or cafés with good coffee and the time to catch up on a book.
Enjoy fish, pizzas and French-inspired cuisine in the restaurants in the town or craft beers and wines at the town’s wine bars. Head to the newly opened Windermere Jetty, a museum dedicated to boats and steam, for the chance to see a unique collection of boats, including Esperance, the boat said to have inspired Captain Flint’s houseboat in Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome and Margaret, the United Kingdom’s oldest sailing yacht.
Fell Foot Park is a short drive from the cottage or even better, arrive the old-fashioned way by boat or catch the train from Haverthwaite Station then the boat. Man’s best friend travels for free on the train. Fell Foot Park is a brilliant place for kayaking, paddle boarding and even hiring a boat. Perfect for those enjoying a holiday with kids and the pooch in tow, Fell Foot Park has a log obstacle course, beautiful views and a fantastic café for a relaxing coffee after a day in the great outdoors.
Wray Castle, a National Trust property, is just 20 minutes from Windermere.
