It may not be a location you have considered before, but dog-friendly glamping in Norfolk is not to be overlooked!
It has stunning historic cities, an incredible stretch of coastline and, of course, the world-famous Norfolk Broads, which you can explore with your dogs.
East Harling, Norfolk
Enjoy a relaxing glamping stay with this luxury shepherd’s hut. It has a double bedroom, shower room and a beautiful rustic interior. There is a small decking area at the front with brilliant views over the lake where you can enjoy a spot of fishing at.
You can head quickly to Norfolk and Suffolk coasts from this glampsite and enjoy a day out on the beach, building sandcastles and splashing about in the Sea. Thetford Forest is also nearby, with a range of walking trails and cycling routes you can explore.
East Harling, Norfolk
A beautiful open-plan cabin with a king-size bed, shower room and TV in the lounge area. Fishing is available onsite in the large lake on your doorstep, and there is a private hot tub you can relax in whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly.
You can try numerous romantic walks from this property’s doorstep, including strolls along the River Thet with your dog and through the famous Thetford Forest. The historic city of Bury St Edmunds is also a popular day out with its shops, cafes and restaurants.
Banham, Norfolk
This fabulous pod is an open-plan studio accommodation on the ground floor. There is a king-size bed with two bunk beds above and a shower room with a walk-in shower. Facilities include a decked terrace at this glamping rental and an outdoor games area for the children.
Banham Zoo is nearby with over 2000 animals and provides a discount to guests; Norwich is 24 miles and has various attractions and activities to try if it’s the seaside your after, Lowestoft is about 36 miles away so it would be worth a day trip.
North Burlingham, Norfolk Broads
This barn conversion provides a touch of upscale camping with its idyllic setting. It has a mezzanine bedroom, shower room, open plan living area and a breakfast bar. There is a welcome pack on arrival, an enclosed garden with furniture and EV charging available for £25 per week.
Hire a boat and spend hours on the network of waterways that make up the Norfolk Broads. You can stop off at Acle Bridge and enjoy some lovely countryside walks around the surrounding area. In the Winter, you can visit Horsey Gap, where you will see hundreds of seals.
Banham, Norfolk
A stunning glamping pod perfect for some luxury camping. It has a splendid open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting area with a dining table. There is a selection of board games, and you can relax on the decked terrace with a parasol and furniture.
From here, you can head south into Bury St Edmunds or north into Norwich, with both cities offering many shops, pubs, restaurants and activities. For beach lovers, we recommend Wells and Great Yarmouth for a cracking day out with the family and pets.
Weybread, Near Norfolk
This wonderful single-storey shepherd’s hut is ideal for pet friendly glamping in Norfolk. The glamping rental has a double bed, walk-in shower, sitting area and woodburning stove. There is an enclosed wrap-around garden, fire pit and BBQ, and a picnic bench to enjoy the food on.
With access to Weybread fishing lake, this is a keen glampsite for any angler. Located within the beautiful Waveney Valley, you have easy access to the heritage coast, Sandringham Estate and, of course, the world-famous Norfolk Broads.
Walcott, Norfolk
Glamping with a view is what this holiday home provides. The stunning property has two double bedrooms, an en suite shower room and a family bathroom. There is a woodburner in the lounge and a hot tub and BBQ out on the front decking with sea views.
Dog-friendly glamping in Norfolk with hot tubs don’t come much better and you can visit the famous pier theatre in Cromer from here and try some local crab, or you would rather spend the day at Amazona Zoo, which is just 11 miles away. For crazy golf and rides, drive to the Pleasure Beach at Great Yarmouth.
Swannington, Norfolk
This idyllic eco-friendly lodge is one of the ost sought after dog friendly glampsites in Norfolk and is excellent for a family of glampers. It has two bedrooms, a king and a twin and two en suite shower rooms with a WC. There is an onsite laundry room you have access to and a patio area next to a lawned garden.
North Norfolk is easily accessible by car and has a range of sandy beaches to run with your dog. There are also a handful of National Trust properties within 10 miles; these include Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park.
Snettisham, Norfolk Coast
A majestic lodge with two bedrooms, a double and a twin, a shower room with a WC and a TV in the lounge. There is garden furniture in the gravelled garden outside, and you will become temporary members of the Sailing Club when staying here.
The glamping accommodation is positioned between Snettisham Beach and the lake, with swimming, kayaking and walking available on your doorstep. Hunstanton is 7 miles and has a range of shops, eateries and an aquarium.
With so many lovely properties, such as huts and dog friendly pods in Norfolk, you’d be hard-pushed to find a better location in the country. It has sandy beaches to play, cafes that welcome pets and a terrific selection of quaint market towns and villages that make you feel welcome.
