The first dog-friendly pub on this list is one of Brighton’s most well-known drinkeries, The Black Lion. Situated close to the seafront, this pub attracts locals and visitors thanks to its live music, drinks selection, and food. The freshly made food changes with the seasons, and is never a disappointment. The pub also boasts a long list of alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks. The Black Lion is, best of all, very dog-friendly! Your dog can sit with you out front or in the warm inside.
The Cleveland Arms
The Cleveland Arms is a family-owned, dog friendly pub that overlooks Blakers Park, having been part of the locality for more than 30 years.. The pub grub here is always fresh and comes from locally sourced ingredients that reflect the seasons and the community. You will be able to order all of the old classics favorites as well as new twists from the pub’s vegan menu.
This local favorite is known for being very dog friendly, welcoming four-legged friends with open arms. It’s a brilliant base for relaxing in after exploring local Blakers Park, and is one of the more famous Brighton pubs that allow dogs. There are plenty of dog friendly walks in Brighton nearby, too.
Brighton Bier Brewery
The Brighton Bier Brewery is another pub you might already be aware of. The crew here is well-known for its award-winning international brewery selection. For authentic home-brewed beers and that classic local charm, BBB is ideal.
It is also known for its huge beer garden that is said to be able to hold up to sixty-six people, in the sun, with the smell of sea air nearby and the sound of seagulls reverberating. The Joker
The Joker in Brighton’s centre is a local pub situated in Preston Circus. It is a well-known local building that is considered to be a landmark of sorts. From the pub kitchen, you can try the Lost Boys’ Chicken, which serves chicken wings, burgers, and other New York-style goodies.
The Joker is also extremely popular with local dog lovers. While it tends to be a little more contemporary than some of the pubs in our list, that doesn’t make it any less warm or welcoming.
