About Hollywell Barn
The kitchen at Hollywell Barn is to die for. The magnificent wood and glass doors set the scene, and a large log burner in the dining area lends a cosy feel. With exposed stone walls, a butler sink and scrubbed pine work tops, the fittings simply ooze character.
An end of terrace cottage 500 yards from Menheniot village, there are views of the countryside from the front garden creating a lovely feeling of space. This holiday home is spread over 3 storeys, with the king-size master on the top floor. And the living room is cosy and comfy, with an exposed stone fireplace at one end.
This cottage does welcome pets with 2 dogs allowed. With wooden and slate floors, it’s a practical place, and the large area of lawn at the front is a lovely place to enjoy a game of catch.

Things To Do in Liskeard
The ancient town of Liskeard is 3.5 miles from Menheniot and has a museum, independent shops, cafes and pubs. The harbour town of Looe can be reached in 20 minutes, and the Eden Project is just 21 miles away.
Menheniot is a pretty Cornish village that boasts a 13th century church tower, alms-houses and a convenience store. The White Hart pub serves up tasty food as well.
Liskeard is the nearest large town, and here you can learn about the local history including the tales from Bodmin Moor. A Heritage Trail guides visitors around the town, and longer circular routes take in the surrounding countryside.
Looe, on the south coast, is divided by a wide river and gives you 2 beaches, a harbour, ice-cream shops and cafes serving tea with scones and clotted cream. The Monkey Sanctuary nearby is where rescued primates are nursed back to health and visitors can learn all about these trusting animals. With the Eden Project just 40 minutes away, the whole family can see plants, insects and trees, and wander the educational pathways with the doggy in tow.
Cornwall has long been a favourite holiday location. It’s a dog-friendly place too, so there’s no need to leave your beloved pet behind.
With coastal walks and hikes on Bodmin Moor to be enjoyed, there are plenty of places to exercise your pooch. Attractions like the Eden Project allow doggies inside, and many of the pubs welcome pets and provide water bowls too.
