Situated in a quiet, rural location just 4 miles from the historic town of Launceston. There is fishing nearby, shop 4 miles and a pub 2 miles away.
Launceston is Cornwall’s ancient capital and still boasts a southern medieval gate and castle ruins. Bizarrely until the 19th century, the castle green was used for public executions. Launceston has been a market town since the time of the Normans.
Launceston is almost on Devon’s Cornish border. Bodmin Moor’s expanse is in one direction, while Dartmoor’s wildness is in the other, just across the Tamar River.
