Located on a working farm, Purcomber Farmhouse is a semi-detached house with 6 bedrooms that sleeps 12 people. There are 2 living rooms and both come with a wood burner, TV and DVD player.
The long kitchen has 2 cookers, a microwave, a dishwasher and a table with chairs. A separate dining room seats 12 and there’s a utility room too.
Two king-size bedrooms and 3 twin rooms are on the 1st floor, and a king-size en-suite bedroom is on the 2nd floor. There are more 2 shower rooms and 2 additional WCs. The garden is large and comes with a hot tub, patio, barbecue and a games room.

Things To Do in Whitchurch Canonicorum
The village of Whitchurch Canonicorum is nestled in the stunning Marshwood Vale in Dorset. The ancient church of St Candida is in the heart of the village, and it contains the remains of Saint Wite enshrined in a simple stone chest.
In Medieval times, pilgrims visited Saint Wite in huge numbers to place afflicted limbs inside the chest in the hope of a cure.
Marshwood Vale is a pretty area to walk and there are several trails to explore. Choose circular routes that cover 3 or 4 miles for a nice long hike with the dog.
The historical town of Bridport is just inland from the Jurassic coast. Every Wednesday and Saturday there’s a market in the high street offering bargains of every kind.
There’s also a range of shops to be found in town including antique stores and art boutiques. Take a pleasant walk beside the River Asker – you can wander along to West Bay without needing to walk beside a road.
Lyme Regis is a pretty seaside town that is popular with families. There’s a harbour, known as the Cobb, and a sandy beach where you can hunt for fossils.
Charmouth Beach is a quieter stretch of sand backed by cliffs. With plenty of parking and a café for refreshments, it’s an ideal place to spend the day.
Forde Abbey is a Cistercian monastery that is now privately owned and maintained as a visitor attraction. The 1,600 acres of the estate includes grounds with England’s highest water fountain, a bog garden, immaculate topiary and an informal area. Doggies are welcome on a lead in the grounds that are constantly changing with the seasons.
The stunning Dorset coast is a much-loved holiday destination. There’s plenty to see in the area, and a wide choice of places to eat, shop and visit.
