Amellyah Cottage is an annexe of the owner’s home. Sleeping 2 people, the double bedroom with en-suite bathroom opens onto the living area.
An electric log burner and TV are in the seating area, and the kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave and fridge-freezer.
At the back there is an enclosed garden with a place to sit outside and a barbecue. One dog is welcome at this cottage, with plenty of walking routes and cycling trails on your doorstep.

Things To Do in Winscombe, Nr Weston-super-Mare
Winscombe is in the north of Somerset and is surrounded by the Mendip Hills. There are long walking paths in the country nearby to get you out in the pretty countryside.
Axbridge is just minutes away with its half-timbered buildings and medieval square. There are independent shops in the town and a choice of great places to eat. King John’s Hunting Lodge houses a local history museum and the village stocks are the highlight of a visit.
A disused railway has been turned into a walking path that will take you through to Cheddar. Cheddar Gorge is a spectacular site – the landscape was created in the ice age. This tourist spot has a deep cave to visit filled with stalactites. Cheddar Cheese was once stored inside as the temperature stays constant all year – there’s a shop next door where you can buy some to take home.
Weston-Super-Mare has a wide sweep of sand and you can get a donkey ride at the front. A handful of pubs and cafes overlook the beach, perfect for mid-afternoon refreshments. Bridgwater is a bustling town with plenty of history and lots of things to do.
The Blake Museum houses artefacts from the town, and there is a garden to visit too. An art gallery, leisure centre and park compliment the high street lined with lots of different shops. Wells is famous for the spectacular cathedral that stands in the town, you have to take a look if you’re nearby.
The Bishop’s Palace is a magnificent castle that has a moat still filled with water. Glastonbury Tor offers incredible views if you rise to the challenge and walk to the top.

To put your toes on the sand, head over to Weston-Super-Mare, the beach here is wide and golden. Full of old-fashioned seaside charm there are donkeys, chips shops, tea rooms and deck chairs to remind you of your childhood holidays to Somerset.
