About Llandremor Fawr Cottage

Llandremor Fawr is beautifully decorated with all the touches of home. In the living room, the log burner offers a cosy added luxury that’s a really lovely bonus. The kitchen is modern and well-fitted with blonde-wood cabinets keeping it fresh and light.

This detached cottage is the ideal retreat away from it all. Positioned in the middle of a 340-acre working farm, there are animals on every side.

Horses are in the paddock next door and geese, chickens, cows and sheep roam freely in the surrounding fields. Inside the cottage there is everything needed for a great holiday.

One pet is welcomed at this cottage, so why not bring your doggy best friend along for a break in South Wales? As it’s a working farm here, it is requested that you keep your dog on a lead when outside to ensure the horses, geese and sheep safe are from harm.

Things To Do in Pentrebach

South Wales has a lot to offer visitors. The rolling countryside, pretty coastline, Brecon Beacons and lively city of Swansea are all waiting to be discovered.

The Brecon Beacons are a stunning area of hills and mountains in the south of Wales. For lovers of the great outdoors, this is the place to head. Walking, climbing, abseiling, mountain biking and caving are all available here.

To the west of the Beacons is the county town of Carmarthen. Along with plenty of shops and places to eat, there is a market to browse, the ruins of the town castle to visit, a museum to tour and the River Towy to stroll beside.

Down on the coast, The Mumbles on the Gower Peninsula offers golden sands, beach huts, seaside cottages and quirky gift shops. There’s a lovely promenade next to the sea to walk along, and it is just the place to tuck into a bag of chips and an ice-cream.

Our Thoughts

The area around Swansea has a wide range of things to do and see. From outdoor activities in the Brecon Beacons to paddles in the sea on the Gower Peninsula, there is something for every member of the family to enjoy.

With a choice of places to walk the dog in south Wales, bringing the pooch along for the break is easy to do. The Llandremor Fawr cottage offers the best of both worlds.

A tranquil location in the middle of a working farm, it’s only a short drive in the car to the vibrant city of Swansea if you miss the hustle and bustle of shops, pubs and restaurants.
