Things To Do in Crymych
The Preseli Mountains are rugged and wild, with space to roam and enjoy some peace. Within a few miles there is the Pembrokeshire Coastline Path with Cardigan Bay, Fishguard and St Bride’s Bay to visit. The ideal base for walkers and families who love the outdoor life.
Castles always capture the imagination of children and adults alike. Just 6 miles from the cottage is Cilgerran Castle, a 13th-century fortification that has a long and interesting history.
Within 26 miles is Carew Castle, and the finest of them all is Pembroke Castle that is a 30-mile drive away.
At Cardigan Bay, there are boat trips along the coast and tours to spot dolphins at sea. Blue flag beaches offer ideal places for the whole family to enjoy. Fishguard is a pretty harbour town and the streets here are lined with quaint seaside cottages.
There are few boutique shops, and it’s a great place to find good restaurants and interesting pubs. Along the southern stretch of coast, Tenby with it’s soft yellow sand, narrow cobbled streets and quirky little shops is within easy reach as well.
