About Ty Newydd Cottage

Delightful sunny open plan lounge and dining room. Perfect for snuggling up on a cold evening with your furry friend. Sit outside with your canine companion in the enclosed lawned garden. There is a quaint sitting area with garden furniture.

Appealing little cottage with open plan living and dining area. The living room comes with Freeview TV. French doors leading onto the garden. Beautiful view from the garden an ideal outdoor area for your pooch to play.

Ty Newydd is pet-friendly. You can bring no more than two furry friends with you. They will have a ball running around in the wide open spaces and they can stay for free.

Things To Do in Llandeilo

Ty Newydd holiday cottages are tucked away on the lower slopes of the Great Orme. This is close to the tramway which takes you to the summit where you can enjoy spectacular views of Llandudno’s two marvellous bays, towards Conway, Anglesey and the Snowdonia Mountains.

Llandeilo, the vibrant, historic town that has flourishing shops is just a short drive away. The fantastic array of pubs, cafés and bistros attract foodies from all over the UK.

Pay a visit to the fabulous National Trust property of Dinefwr Castle and Park. Dinefwr is a wonderful 800-acre estate with parkland walks, a Mill Pond, Bog Wood Boardwalk and children’s Play Area.

Newton House has quaint tea rooms and a courtyard shopping area and a Medieval Castle. Dinefwr is a beautiful place to be at one with nature. Bear witness to stunning uninterrupted views of Towyi river from the castle parapets. There are wonderful walks for you and your pooch and some great spots to do some birdwatching. Carmarthen and Llandovery are both worth a visit.

There are plenty of shops, traditional pubs and restaurants within a short driving distance. Pay a visit to the Dolaucothi Gold Mines and Gwili steam railway.

Not forgetting the National Botanical Gardens and iconic castles. The National Botanic Garden of Wales was the first national botanic garden of the millennium. This amazing garden covers over 500 acres of Carmarthenshire countryside and it includes a nature reserve. Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse as its centrepiece. The majestic Carreg Cennen, Dryslywn and Kidwelly are fabulous attractions.

Take a short drive from the stunning countryside to Carmarthenshire sandy beaches ideal for a walk with your family pet. There are photo opportunities no matter where you aim your camera.
